馃 The Eurasian nuthatch or wood nuthatch (Sitta europaea)
- Sitta sitt膿 (Greek) mentioned by Aristotle and other ancient Greek. by the authors of the bird, something similar to the woodpecker
- europaea (lat.) European
These funny guys are very interesting to watch. Moreover, they are not shy and allow you to get closer to them, and in city parks they even sit on passers-by to beg. There, in city parks, these guys behave impudently towards other birds at feeders. When all the birds respect each other and respect each other in turn, the nuthatches simply fly into the feeder like a bowling ball, pushing away the rest of the birds.
It is surprising that their behavior does not change depending on their habitat. Whether in city parks or in the wild, they behave the same. In principle, they are not afraid of people. There were a couple of times when these guys in the deep forest sat on me, apparently I have such good camouflage or they are so not afraid of people.
