These birds are wintering and sedentary, but they fly away from my cold region. But with the onset of spring they return, and often even earlier than finches and kites. At this time, in early spring, you can hear their voices, their unforgettable trills. Why are they called “forest canaries”.
But I’m not always able to take high-quality photos of these birds. For some reason, in my region they are quite shy and won’t let me get close to them. As soon as they see a person, they immediately fly away.
