馃 The Eurasian golden oriole (Oriolus oriolus)

  • Oriolus oryolus (lat.) oriole [Old French. oryol oriole, aureolus gold]

An incredibly beautiful bird. It has the richest and brightest yellow plumage. But despite this, it is still not easy to see it. The bird is very cautious and timid, and even if you hear it on a tree, it simply will not let you see it.
It arrives one of the last, in the middle or end of May, when the trees are just beginning to bloom. And this is the most favorable time to see this bird.

While there is no dense vegetation, the bird has nowhere to hide.
Sexual dimorphism is pronounced, the female has a white lower body, and the male is completely yellow.
The bird feeds on insects, and they love hairy caterpillars, which no one eats except it and the cuckoos.
