馃 The tree pipit (Anthus trivialis)
- Anthus (ancient Greek mythology) Antus, son of Hippodamia, turned into a bird
- Trivialis (lat.) common, simple, banal
These relatives of white wagtails arrive in the second wave, around the end of April, when the snow has almost melted, the weather is warm and insects have appeared.
Since this is a wagtail, albeit a forest one, the behavior of this bird is appropriate. The bird wanders on the ground and looks for food there.
And it鈥檚 not so easy to see it because its plumage merges with the ground. You need to wait until the bird starts moving and only then will you be able to detect it.
