馃 The great tit (Parus major)

  • Parus (lat.) Tit
  • major (lat.) large

Some of my favorite birds. While I鈥檓 writing this, two males are singing a spring mating song in the yard, it鈥檚 very happy and pleasant to hear, spring is coming.
These birds can be found everywhere and at any time of the year. In the spring, they look for a mate and scatter through the forests, but some remain to live in city parks, gardens, and courtyards. If you pay attention during summer walks around the city, you can hear their voices in the dense vegetation of trees and bushes.

They are easily tamed and get used to people, so in city parks you can easily treat them with unsalted seeds and nuts right from the palm of your hand.
