馃 The Siberian rubythroat (Calliope calliope)
- Calliope (ancient Greek mythology) Calliope - the eldest of the muses, the goddess of chants, the muse of epic poetry
A beautiful and unusual nightingale. In the forest where I most often go, this nightingale flies... I don鈥檛 know when it flies, but I meet it once every two years in July. Usually he likes to sit on birch branches in front of which some tall grasses and small shrubs grow. Surprisingly, the bird is not particularly afraid of people, and you can get close to it.
With his tail held high, he sings a song. Which is strange, because the mating season has long passed.
His songs are varied, consisting of the voices of other birds that live nearby, or that he has ever heard.
