I see these funny corvid birds in the fall and sometimes in the winter. This concerns the mixed type forest where I most often go. At other times of the year it is difficult to see these birds here, although I have seen them a couple of times in a special place where birds of prey live. However, in the coniferous forest I saw these birds even in summer.

Like all corvids, jays are capable of imitating the voices of other birds, various sounds, and human speech. This beauty in the photo, for example, screamed like a black woodpecker. Actually, I followed the sound to take a photo of the woodpecker, and when I arrived at the place I saw her.
