🦉 The great tit (Parus major)

These yellow-bellied guys can be found at any time of the year, anywhere. And in city courtyards and parks, and in various forests.
It’s especially funny to watch them jump on dry fallen leaves in the fall, rustling them, turning over the leaves in search of something edible.
In winter, they willingly visit feeders, and in city parks they become so accustomed to people that they can easily beg food from passers-by.

In the spring, I love listening to their mating songs. High-ranking males begin to sing in winter when they feel warm, although these songs are modest, two-syllable, and short-lived.
And in the summer, the flocks break up into pairs and most fly away through the forests. But some remain to live in cities.
