🦉 The long-tailed tit or long-tailed bushtit (Aegithalos caudatus)

It is not easy to spot these charming birds in summer. Like everyone else, at this time of year they lead a secretive lifestyle and are busy with their family concerns of feeding and educating their children.
Juvenile long-tailed tits differ from adults by brown spots on their heads and brown eyelids. Adult birds have yellow eyelids and no brown spots, but this depends on the subspecies and place of residence.

Both parents raise their children, but it is not uncommon that other couples who, for some reason, do not have children of their own, can help them. And also, in warm regions, if the birds have nestlings for the second time this summer, then older children help them.
