🦉 The coal tit or cole tit (Periparus ater)

• ater (lat.) black, dark

These are very strange tits in my opinion. All birds of this family (Titmice) are sedentary, and in autumn they gather in flocks and fly from the forests to the cities where there is food.
But not these! For some reason, coal tits avoid cities and fly far away. With rare exceptions, somewhere in the park you can see one bird in the fall that was flying past and decided to stop and rest.

And this happens until spring. In spring, these birds fly to the forests and actively sing songs. But again, when the mating season passes, most of these birds disappear somewhere again. Few remain to live in the forests. Obviously this is due to their biome, they mainly choose coniferous forests, while my city is surrounded by mixed forests.
