🦉 The black kite (Milvus migrans)

In addition to stonechat and yellow wagtail, I go to the meadows outside the city to watch the kites hunt.
In the meadows, these birds are very visible, since it is an open space, which is still located on a hill towards the river, so you can shoot kites at their level. Simply put, at their eye level without distorting perspective.

In the city, kites inspect garbage dumps for any scraps. And in the meadows they hunt small rodents like field mice living here. And on the river they catch fish that are literally pulled out from the surface of the water.
