These wild sparrows are found on the outskirts of the city. I see them either in the meadows or near the shore where there are the largest number of them. After the river becomes shallow and access to the shore opens, I visit these places. Sparrows love to sit in the bushes in huge flocks.
And since they are wild and not used to seeing people, then of course they are scared of me and fly away realizing that I am approaching them.
With the advent of winter, this species of sparrows can unite with their brothers - house sparrows in a common flock. And then they can be seen in parks near feeders and even in yards.
