This graceful slender bird is familiar to everyone. It happens when I walk around the city, these birds walk along the sidewalks shaking their tails and quickly run away. But they can also be found in the wild, although the number of birds living in the forest is much less.
Most often I see them in the spring, when the snow has already melted. Wagtails roam along forest rivers. And also, forests often burn in spring, and these birds love to fool around on scorched earth, in search of fried insects. The first photo is from there.
