Recently I went to visit my relatives in the neighboring region. This year, I didn't take all my photography equipment with me, and decided to limit myself to my phone.
All photos were taken at 30x zoom mode (10x optical + digital).
It is worth saying that this city and the entire region as a whole is a steppe zone, and there are practically no forests here, only within the city itself there are small parks.
And because of this, wild birds have to live right in the courtyards of the city. It is amazing! Indeed, in my city, in order to observe wild birds, I have to go into the forest or out of town, and here the birds are right in the yard!
It is not a problem to meet rooks right in the city. Here is one of them drinking from the lake in the photo above.
There are a lot of such lakes in the city. Of course, black-headed gulls fly there.
They fly all over the city. In my city, seagulls live only on the outskirts of the city where the river flows.
And in this photo, this impudent seagull robbed a pigeon. She attacked him and took a piece of the cookie. And all this happens right near the shops, and not in the wild.
There are no rooks or jackdaws in my city. And here they walk together on the grass and find something to eat.
There are more jackdaws and they like to gather in small groups.
And I heard this bluethroat near some garages and a service station. He sang a song in the bushes. In my city, these guys live only on the outskirts of the city near the coastline.
Again, it is very unusual when wild birds are right in the yards. And you know, it's very nice to wake up in the morning to the songs of a chaffinch. By the way, here he is. I left the house and took a photo of him.
And near the city hospital there are always a lot of fieldfare.
