Yesterday I decided to take a walk in the coastal forest. In general, I went to visit the kingfishers, and met them.
To my great regret and surprise, I did not meet the Oriole and Blyth's reed warblers. This is very strange, they should have appeared a long time ago.
The common chaffinch or simply the chaffinch (Fringilla coelebs) met me first. He sat down on a branch and began to sing. And after a short song, he jumped to the ground, apparently to eat.
Going down the hill in the bushes, I heard The willow warbler (Phylloscopus trochilus). There were a lot of these birds in this forest. They even bothered me.
In the same bushes there was also The lesser whitethroat (Curruca curruca). At first she hid and did not show themselves to me, but then I got used to the fact that I was just standing next to her and climbed onto a separate branch where she began to sing a song.
Having passed along the coast, I heard a song consisting of various voices of other birds, it became clear that somewhere there was The bluethroat (Luscinia svecica). This friend just sat on a branch and sang a song. We looked at each other, he sang, and I took pictures of him.
The European pied flycatcher (Ficedula hypoleuca) sang songs nearby. In general, it is sometimes surprising how so many species of birds can coexist in a small area. This bird sometimes sang a song, and sometimes examined all kinds of holes in the trees.
And so, I got to a ravine where a small spring flows. This is a favorite spot for The common kingfisher (Alcedo atthis) . But when I arrived there I did not find anyone. But as soon as I turned on their sounds on the speaker, as soon as one bird flew in from the side of the river.
I spent a long time in this place admiring this incredible beauty of the bird.
Deciding to go around the ravine, I saw a couple of small birds in the grass. They got scared and sat down on a branch. It was a pair of The little bunting (Emberiza pusilla). I met them again a little later, but they refused to be photographed.
And finally, going around the ravine, I met my old friend!
Those who regularly read me probably remember this wonderful rare phenomenon - a hybrid of The yellowhammer (Emberiza citrinella) and The pine bunting (Emberiza leucocephalos).
I have been observing this bird for 4 years already, but the age of this bird may be more. In the same place. This is apparently her favorite place. I was glad to meet you!
Bypassing the ravine, I came to the shore, and not far away, where the river is, kingfishers, and there were two of them, were fishing.
As expected, The common sandpiper (Actitis hypoleucos) walked along the coast, screaming unpleasantly and shaking their tail. Here he fluffed up a little, it was pretty cool yesterday.
Then I went to a small meadow, where low trees and bushes grow side by side. On the ground, I again met a couple of little buntings, and they ducked into the bushes.
I turned on the sound on the speaker to lure them out, but The tree pipit (Anthus trivialis) appeared. He sat down on a branch and watched who dared to violate his territory.
Then there was a long road. But unfortunately, the coast is still flooded with a river, and it is impossible to walk there until mid-July. I turned the other way, where there is a mixed forest. There I saw The long-tailed tit or long-tailed bushtit (Aegithalos caudatus), which I had not seen for a very long time. They are now secretive, they are building a nest.
After a little rest, I went back. On the way, i looked again at the kingfishers. I love them.
