After the half marathon distance on Monday I resisted the urge to do it again on Tuesday, instead I took time for a long walk where I could chat with my own father and talk about the complex situation at home.

Today I decided to do 5 kilometers in which I tried to keep my heartrate under control.

While it is far from the 4:50/km at 135 bpm I could run months ago, this 5:17/km at 141 bpm is still decent. I feel that it is already building back up and honestly that is a good feeling. Now just consistency at we are back in no time.

Later today I will be cycling another 20 km so that will also boost my cardio a little bit further!

I am not sure if I will be able to make some time in the weekend as it is expected to be intense. My wife will celebrate her 40th birthday, with the current condition it is hard to predict if she is sufficiently recovered to feel comfortable with some visitors over. Tuesday we expect to go for the 7th chemo - if, the bloodwork on Monday turns out to be ok, which is hard to predict right now.
