Entry to #monomad Challenge
From the moment I left the airport for central Berlin and saw the subway stations, I told myself I had to do a photo series about them, not just because of their order, cleanliness, and beauty. It's because each one seems to have a very particular rhythm, its own life.
I didn't go out in just one day to take the photos; no, I took them little by little during my three-month stay there, and now I've taken on the task of compiling them and putting them together in this series. These aren't the only ones; there are many more, and they're even enough to cover other sections on this topic.
As the series was completed over almost three months, I used different Canon lenses: an EF 24-105mm f/3.5-5.5 zoom that I later sold and bought a similar one, but with an RF macro mount and f/4-7.1, an EF 28mm fixed lens with f/2.8 that I also sold and then bought the RF macro 35mm f/1.8 (a real gem) and two fixed FD lenses, the 50mm f/1.4 and the 135mm f/3.5. In short, there's something for everyone 馃榿. All the details of the equipment used appear at the end of the article.
I divided the photos into three segments: The first three were taken on the stairs leading to the stations and their different levels. Then there are five more taken on the platform areas. Finally, there are two more taken outdoors, the first at a tram stop and the last from a bridge overlooking the railway tracks.

Desde que sal铆 del aeropuerto hacia el centro de Berl铆n y vi las estaciones de metro me dije a mi mismo que ten铆a que hacer una serie fotogr谩fica sobre ellas, no solo por su orden, limpieza y belleza. Es que cada una parece tener un ritmo muy particular, su propia vida.
No sal铆 en un solo d铆a a hacer las fotos, no, las fui haciendo poco a poco durante mis tres meses de estancia por all谩 y ahora me di a la tarea de recopilarlas y unirlas en esta serie. No son las 煤nicas, hay muchas m谩s e incluso alcanzan para hacer otras partes sobre este tema.
Como la serie se fue completando durante casi tres mese, utilic茅 diferentes objetivos canon: un zoom EF 24-105mm f/3.5-5.5 que luego vend铆 y compr茅 otro similar, pero con montura RF macro y f/4-7.1, un EF 28mm fijo con f/2.8 que tambi茅n vend铆 y luego compr茅 el RF macro 35mm f/1.8 (una verdadera joya) y dos objetivos fijos FD, el 50mm f/1.4 y el 135mm f/3.5. En resumen, hay para todos los gustos 馃榿. Al final del art铆culo aparecen todos los detalles del equipamiento utilizado.
Las fotos las divid铆 en tres segmentos: Las tres primeras fueron hechas en las escaleras de acceso a las estaciones y sus diferentes niveles. Luego siguen 5 m谩s captadas en las 谩reas de los andenes. Por 煤ltomo hay dos m谩s hechas en exteriores, la primera de ellas en una parada de un tranv铆a y la 煤ltima desde un puente hacia las v铆as f茅rreas.
