The weather didnt kiss me today -- it spilled a massive Flood on the streets today. I had to leave my bike at the office and returned home on my own. Firstly I waited the rain to stop, and I was considering that I may share the pictures I got a week ago.
But when I actually stepped out, I was crazy enough to start shooting... I was hiding my camera under the coat, lens blende and the visor of my cap helped to protect it from water drops. At least it worked... well, lets see what it will be tomorrow!
Now, my pics. Hope you dont be mad at me that I share a bit lately...
Some my collegues are still waiting for rain to stop (even being equipped with umbrella). Naive! It didnt stop, I hear it goes on even now, as I type this.
These puddles always remind me The Docks of Curast (if you know what I mean, hehe).
Some cyclists are brave enough!... but not me. Besides that, camera and bike simply dont go together well. Even when theres no rain. My path goes thru the park, where I meet some people. The deserted walkways look ok, but when there are people with umbrellas in the frame, the captures become even better.
(In search for a better composition...)
Two times I asked permission to take pics, and two times strangers posed for me with 200% enthusiasm. Fantastic! Does the rain makes folks more accommodating and kind... or it was my wet outlook, with camera hiding at armpit, helped? Who knows. Not me.
Flowers always look like super after the rain.
The Linden
Rosehip bloom is almost over.
Pions: no water bottle was used!
The chessplayers were the only people who seemed in no hurry and didnt cared about the rain. And the only ones who protested about being photographed: "We arent in the Zoo, dude!' - were his words. I lied, that I will delete the pictures. Well, I just told what he wanted to hear.
More folks with umbrellas... and without them!
