Today I have the pleasure of inviting you to discover the natural viewpoint of Crucesitas, with one of the most beautiful views of the Escambray mountains and the city of Cienfuegos, very close to Cumanayagua. On this tour I will show you part of the Mountain Health Center of the small town, landscapes, extreme nature, and the highest point of the route at (655 meters above sea level).

Hoy tengo el placer de invitarlos a conocer el mirador natural de Crucesitas, con una de las vistas más bellas de las montañas del Escambray y la ciudad de Cienfuegos, muy cerca de Cumanayagua. En este recorrido les mostraré parte del Centro de Salud de Montaña del pueblito, paisajes, naturaleza extrema y el punto más alto del trayecto a (655 metros sobre el nivel del mar).

This single stop on the excursion to El Nicho was recommended by the guide for lovers of heights and panoramic views of the city of Cienfuegos, very close to the town of Cumanayagua.
It was about 20 minutes to have a coffee, relax, use the bathroom, take wonderful photographs, and share among travel companions the spectacular mountain viewpoint.
Esta única parada de la excursión al Nicho fue recomendada por el guía para los amantes de las alturas y vistas panorámicas de la ciudad de Cienfuegos, muy cerca del pueblo Cumanayagua.
Fue alrededor de 20 minutos para tomar un café, relajarnos, ir al baño, realizar maravillosas fotografías y compartir entre compañeros de viajes el espectacular mirador montañoso.

Este es de los lugares que no solo se visitan, se sienten. Un refugio natural donde el cuerpo descansa, la mente respira y la salud se renueva; es paz total en los alrededores. Las primeras vistas fueron desde la baranda, un clima fresco y aire puro, considerado un agente terapéutico para afecciones respiratorias y cardiovasculares .
La vegetación y observación de paisajes es uno de los principales atractivos del centro. Este rincón de naturaleza, tranquilidad y belleza donde las montañas de Cienfuegos regalan uno de los escenarios más encantadoras del panorama rural cubano.
The back part is the most impressive part of the health center; it contains the bathrooms and several small tables for the public who come to appreciate these wonderful mountain views.
Known by those who visit this area, this space constitutes a true hidden gem of the Cienfuegos landscape, a place where the green of the hills merges with the blue of the sky and the clouds draw a horizon that seems to have no end.
La parte trasera es la más impresionante del centro de salud, continente los baños y varias mesitas para sentarse el público que viene a preciar estas maravillosas vistas montañosas.
Conocido por quienes visitan esta zona, este espacio constituye una verdadera joya escondida del paisaje cienfueguero, un lugar donde el verde de las elevaciones se funde con el azul del cielo y las nubes dibujan un horizonte que parece no tener fin.

También al conversar con los trabajadores nos mencionaron que se realizan investigaciones de la flora, desarrollando líneas de investigación sobre plantas medicinales autóctonas, especialmente la Mariposa (flor nacional de Cuba), estudiando sus propiedades antiinflamatorias y cicatrizantes para uso cosmético y medicinal.

To be honest, taking photos here is a spectacle; personally, I loved them. The green background, the bushes and plants that grow near the trails, up to the forests that cover the farthest hills—it's absolutely beautiful.
This is one of those places where a simple glance is enough to understand the value of Cuba's rural landscapes.
La verdad tirarse fotos aquí, es un espectáculo, a mí en lo personal me encantaron, el fondo verde, los arbustos y las plantas que crecen cerca de los senderos hasta los bosques que cubren las elevaciones más lejanas, es bellísimo.

These details, together with the landscape that opens up before visitors, make the health center a pleasant place to share, converse, and enjoy the tranquility of the countryside.

All of us travel companions approached a wooden walkway that goes into the surroundings and allows you to contemplate the vegetation and the slopes of the hills up close.
Visiting this corner before reaching 'El Nicho' Natural Park is also an opportunity to get closer to rural Cuba, to its mountain communities, and to those places that, without big tourism campaigns, preserve an authentic beauty.
Todos los compañeros de viajes nos acercamos a una pasarela de madera que se adentra en el entorno y permite contemplar de cerca la vegetación y las pendientes de las lomas.
Visitar este rincón antes de llegar al Parque Natural 'El Nicho' es también una oportunidad para acercarse a la Cuba rural, a sus comunidades de montaña y a esos lugares que, sin grandes campañas turísticas, conservan una belleza auténtica.
To conclude, the Crucesitas viewpoint is an example of how the beauty of a destination does not necessarily depend on large tourist facilities. Sometimes, a privileged panoramic view, a well-preserved natural environment, exotic nature, and a space to stop and contemplate are enough to create a memorable experience.
This center became an interesting stop for all of us; we enjoyed the landscape, took photographs, and discovered another facet of the province of Cienfuegos.
Para concluir, el mirador de Crucesitas es un ejemplo de cómo la belleza de un destino no depende necesariamente de grandes instalaciones turísticas. A veces, basta una vista panorámica privilegiada, un entorno natural bien conservado, naturaleza exótica y un espacio donde detenerse a contemplar para crear una experiencia memorable.
Este centro se convirtió en una parada interesante para todos nosotros, disfrutamos del paisaje, tomar fotografías y descubrir otra faceta de la provincia de Cienfuegos.
