DIY! Santa Claus and the Mario Superstar in foam clay | Christmas Design 2026. (Tutorial) [ENG] [ESP]

Good evening family @diyhub, lovers of handmade crafts and artisans, today I will teach you how to make Santa Claus and the Mario Bros Superstar in a Christmas version for this 2026 using moldable foami (foam clay). I hope you all like the creation, the entire community in general, and I am super happy to present my experience with this flexible material. Join me!

Hola!! Buenas Noches familia #diyhub, amantes de los trabajos manuales y artesanías, el día de hoy les enseñaré a realizar con foami moldeable (foam clay) a Santa Claus y la Superestrella de Mario Bros en una versión Navideña para este 2026. Espero les guste la creación, a toda la comunidad en general y yo súper contento en presentarles mi experiencia con este material flexible. ¡Acompáñame!

The inspiration for this project came from Pinterest ideas and a Christmas gift. That's how I came up with the idea of creating Santa Claus, with his suit and white beard, alongside the yellow, shiny star with little black eyes from the Mario Bros video game: a symbol of power, joy, and good luck.

I really liked these characters because of their wintery appearance. Now I'm sharing with you the design I made in foami clay for the community. I know it's not much, but it's my way of expressing myself through art.

La inspiración para este proyecto llegó gracias a las ideas de Pinterest y a un regalo navideño. Fue así como se me ocurrió crear a Papá Noel, con su traje y barba blanca, junto a la estrella amarilla y brillante, con ojitos negros, del videojuego Mario Bros: un símbolo de poder, alegría y buena suerte.

Estos personajes me gustaron mucho por su apariencia invernal. Ahora les comparto el diseño que hice en foami clay para la comunidad. Sé que no es mucho, pero es mi manera de expresarme mediante el arte.

In the following I will show you step by step the realization of my work. To begin with, I will mention all the materials used:

A continuación les mostraré paso a paso la realización de mi trabajo. Para empezar, mencionaré todos los materiales utilizados:

In the initial phase, I begin by taking a portion of red clay to make the body of the cartoon character. Then, with my hands I mold it into a ball shape, giving it a curious finish.

En la fase inicial, comienzo tomando una porción de arcilla en color rojo para realizar el cuerpo del animado. Luego, con las manos moldeó en forma de bola, dándoles una terminación curiosa.

Next, I develop the body parts of Santa Claus, his head, his white beard, his Christmas hat, his ears, his suit, his gloves, the arms and the black belt, always giving my best.

Seguidamente, desarrollo las piezas del cuerpo en Santa Claus, su cabeza, su barba blanca, su gorro navideño, sus orejas, su traje, sus guantes, los brazos y el cinturon negro, siempre dando lo mejor de mi.

Finally, we make the final touches on the eyes, his boots, the super star and the year 2026 in shades of blue, red, yellow, green, black and white. This design is a little more complex, since the parts are smaller when molding.

Ya por último, realizamos los retoques finales en los ojos, sus botas, la súper estrella y el año 2026 en tonalidades de azul, rojo, amarillo, verde, negro y blanco. Este diseño es un poco más complejo, pues son más pequeñas las partes a la hora de moldear.

It is worth noting that this design was found on Pinterest; but the making of the animated figures is done by me, with dedication so that they look prettier in your home or bedroom.

Cabe destacar que este diseño fue buscado en Pinterest; pero la realización de los animados son hechos por mí, con dedicación para que luzcan mas bonitos en tu hogar o dormitorio.
