If you are a nature lover you have to stay and enjoy this post, where we will see different ecosystems, abandoned places where people used to live, but today it was abandoned and the area is desolate and has become a forest where, however, urban remains continue. But we will also see not only architectures, but also different species, lakes and even an old mining that I found. We did not find any identification. It may have been clandestine, but what there is no doubt is that they did mine something on those lands. Besides sharing with you the contamination that caused these urban remains as a small toxic lake and soils with chemical residues, but, nevertheless, nature did its work and today we have a complete area of trees and wild animals.

¡HOLA COMUNIDAD! 🖐️

Si eres amante de la naturaleza tienes que quedarte a disfrutar de post, donde veremos distintos ecosistemas, lugares abandonados donde antiguamente vivían personas, pero al día de hoy fue abandonado y se encuentra la zona desolada convirtiéndose en un bosque donde, sin embargo, continúan restos urbanos. Pero también no solo veremos arquitecturas, sino diferentes de especies, lagos e incluso una antigua minería que me encontré. No encontramos ninguna identificación. Puede ser que haya sido clandestino, pero lo que no hay duda es que sí minaban algo en esas tierras. Además de compartirle la contaminación que ocasionó estos restos urbanos como un pequeño lago tóxico y suelos con residuos químicos, pero, sin embargo, la naturaleza hizo su trabajo y al día de hoy tenemos una zona completa de árboles y animales silvestres.

WHERE AM I? Well the first thing I want to report is that we are in Pio Pires located in Arrentela, Seixal, it may not be very famous or first time you hear this area of Portugal, but today let's see what it has to offer and I found this area that I could not resist and decided to explore this forest, as there is no signage of existence of the place, however, that did not stop my curiosity.

DONDE ME ENCUENTRO? Bueno lo primero que quiero informar es que nos encontramos en Pio Pires localizado en Arrentela, Seixal, puede que no sea muy famoso o primera vez que escuchas esta zona de Portugal, pero el día de hoy vamos a ver que tiene para ofrecer y me encontré esta zona que no pude resistirme y decidí explorar este bosque, ya que no hay ninguna señalización de existencia del lugar, sin embargo, eso no detuvo mi curiosidad.

COAL MINE? When I entered this forest I thought everything was normal: trees, birds, a mountain and small trails that leave a trail of rabbits and foxes. I was lucky to see them, but unfortunately they are too fast to photograph. The craziest and most curious thing of this walk was to find this small mine, there are no records of anything, but there is no doubt that something is looking for in the ground, in my head I think it might be coal, as there are some areas of the land that are very dark similar to coal, but for safety reasons I did not touch anything and well to this day there is no information about it. If you know what it is, please comment.
CONTAMINATION: I don't know if you can see in the post how contaminated the area is, the water has an orange color and the soil is kind of like a chemical that was spilled I don't know if you can see it in the post.

¿MINA DE CARBÓN? Cuando me adentré a este bosque pensé que todo era normal: árboles, pájaros, una montaña y pequeños caminos que dejan rastro conejos y zorros. Tuve suerte en verlos, pero lastimosamente son muy rápidos para fotografiarlos. Lo más loco y curioso de este paseo fue encontrarme de esta pequeña mina, no hay registros de nada, pero no hay dudas que algo buscan en la tierra, en mi cabeza pienso que capaz es de carbón, ya que hay unas zonas de la tierra que son muy oscuras parecidas al carbón, pero por seguridad no toque nada y bueno al día de hoy no hay ninguna información referente a esto. Si tú sabes de qué se trata, por favor coméntalo.
CONTAMINACIÓN: No sé si puedes apreciar en el post lo contaminado que está la zona, el agua tiene un color anaranjado y la tierra como especie de un químico que se derramó

Maré Novo dos Paulistas Mill (ruins) Nearby we will find these ruins which are an industrial heritage of Seixal, was built in the 15th century connecting with the river Coina, in the 18th century it was rebuilt along with several other mills in the area, after the great earthquake that Portugal suffered. In 1986 it was considered industrial heritage of Seixal, unfortunately it was not rebuilt, but we can still observe this beautiful architecture.

Moinho de Maré Novo dos Paulistas(ruínas) Cerca vamos a encontrarnos estas ruinas que se trata de un patrimonio industrial de Seixal, fue construido en el siglo 15 conectando con el río de Coina, en el siglo 18 fue reconstruido junto a otros varios molinos de la zona, después del gran terremoto que sufrió Portugal. En 1986 fue considerado patrimonio industrial de Seixal, lastimosamente no fue realizada una reconstrucción, pero aun así podemos observar esta hermosa arquitectura.

Another of the curious animals that I found under a rock was the classic tiger centipede or desert centipede are the common names, we have to be very careful, because if you cross their path this little friend will not be afraid to attack and injects a poison (non-lethal) that will make you feel a strong pain and leave a small mark on your skin. At first I didn't think this animal would be found here, as it is not very common in Europe. Its location is in the deserts of USA and Mexico and other countries of America but what a surprise I found it in the lands of Portugal. A curious fact about this animal is that it is a fierce predator, it feeds on various invertebrates even those that reach a large size have been seen hunting rats, but it is a battle of both animals because there are records of field rats hunting this animal, but as we know the centipede has the ability to regenerate their limbs.

Cerca de la zona junto con un telescopio pueda distinguir una zona industrial cerca por lo cual puede explicar por qué hay algunos problemas en la zona, incluso puede que antiguamente gracias a esa fábrica había personas viviendo en la zona, pero tras el terremoto fueron destruidos haciendo algunas personas desalojaran la zona, ya que también podemos observar otras zonas en abandono.
Otro de los curiosos animales que encontré bajo una roca fue el clásico ciempiés tigre o del desierto son los nombres comunes, tenemos que tener mucho cuidado, ya que si te cruzas en su camino este pequeño amigo no tendrá miedo en atacar e inyecta un veneno (no letal) que hará que sientas un fuerte dolor y dejará una pequeña marca en tu piel. Al principio no creí que este animal se encontrara aquí, ya que no es muy común en Europa. Su localización está en los desiertos de USA y México y otros países de América pero qué sorpresa lo encontré en las tierras de Portugal. Un dato curioso de este animal es que es un depredador feroz, se alimenta de varios invertebrados incluso los que alcanzan un gran tamaño se han visto qué cazan ratas, pero es una batalla de ambos animales porque hay registro de ratas del campo cazando este animal, pero como sabemos el ciempiés posee la habilidad de regenerar sus extremidades.

The sun is gone, now we are in the dark it is normal that we can observe more animal activity and well that day I managed to photograph several species of amphibians, specifically toads, I managed to find different colors, sizes and even managed to capture several making sounds, communicating with each other and let me tell you that they were not at all shy if you were too smart I think they were ready to attack you hahaha. Thanks to an indicator we were able to identify which types of toads inhabit the area: one is the runner, and the green toad.

Se fue el sol, ahora estamos a oscuras es normal que podamos observar más actividad animal y bueno ese día logre fotografiar, varias especies de anfibios, específicamente sapos, logre encontrar de diferentes colores, tamaños e incluso logre capturar varias haciendo sonidos, comunicándose unos con los otros y déjame contarte que no eran para nada tímidos si te pasabas de listos pienso que estaban listos para atacarte hahaha. Gracias a un indicador logramos identificar qué tipos de sapos habitan la zona: uno es el corredor, y el sapo verde.
