Muchas cosas no me salieron como esperaba, pero también muchas otras cosas bonitas sucedieron sin yo esperarlas; algunas personas se fueron de mi vida y me dejaron un poquito roto el corazón, pero también algunas otras llegaron de la nada a hacerme más bonitos los días. Claro que duele cuando algo no nos sale como queremos, pero la puerta que se cierra también a su tiempo nos lleva a un lugar más bonito, a un amor más bonito o a algo más bonito, y con eso me quedo.

A lot of things didn’t turn out the way I expected, but many other wonderful things happened when I least expected them; some people left my life and left my heart a little broken, but others came out of nowhere to make my days brighter. Of course it hurts when things don’t go the way we want them to, but the door that closes eventually leads us to a more beautiful place, a more beautiful love, or something more beautiful—and that’s what I’ll hold onto.
