Romantic sweet ❤️ [Week-145]

I believe that romanticism is one of those little things that waters or nurtures love, as well as consideration, respect, intimacy, teamwork and others.

I consider myself a very romantic person. I love simple and romantic details like a flower, a dinner, a dessert or some nice words 🥰

That's why for our 14th anniversary I wanted to make my husband a surprise, a special breakfast. Something that was beyond the everyday, but that he loves (anything with wheat flour he loves 😅).

Being a person who likes to plan ahead, I watched a lot of anniversary recipe videos looking for ideas to make, thought about the decorations and decided what I wanted and how I wanted it, writing everything down on a piece of paper, plus I looked up all the ingredients.

I cooked some cheese filled croissants, cinnamon rolls with cheese, a garlic sauce spread and coffee with milk.

So after midnight I kneaded everything and let it rest for the yeast to take effect. And in the early morning I baked. In the morning I prepared the coffee with milk.

It was the first time I made croissants and cinnamon rolls, I was a little unsure of how they would turn out.

I told my husband not to get out of bed until I called him and he did. When I called him he came out of the room and saw our sweet romantic breakfast prepared with my own hands 🤗 He was very surprised, hugged me, thanked me and we said to each other, "Happy anniversary love". We sat down to eat and took this picture.

Even though those days we were just moving to our new home, restarting our life, still arranging many things, almost everything in bags and boxes and with a messy mind too, we were able to enjoy a romantic anniversary together 💜
