Dear friends and artists after a few months of being a little away from the network today I want to resume the work I had been doing on my blog, during my stay in Cayman Islands that lasted for about 6 months I could barely find time to make 1 or two posts, the good part is that I come loaded with many stories and things to tell you.
Today I bring you one of the paintings I made during my time in that island, taking advantage of all the Caribbean atmosphere I wanted to be inspired by the woman also with a touch of Africa.
First I started with a drawing on the fabric to place well the figure and the details, where each thing was going, I had to adapt to the light of my rent and to part inside and part in the courtyard that had the house.
After I finished the drawing clearly, I started to put the color layers to give a general color to all the shapes.
Little by little and layer after layer of paint I was adding , volume details and shapes until I achieved the final finish where all the skin tones and textures of the different elements are mixed.
To make this piece it took me several weeks because from Monday to Saturday I worked in the photography lab and I only had Sunday to do my personal things, without a doubt a very important experience for me because I had never left my country before and I did it completely alone.
Now I'm back home because my work permit is over and I'm ready for new works and new adventures. My return could not have been more timely, just in time to participate in the #HiveCubaCon.

Queridos amigos y artistas despu茅s de algunos meses de estar un poco alejado de la cadena hoy quiero retomar el trabajo que ya ven铆a haciendo en mi blog, durante mi estancia en islas Caim谩n que se extendi贸 por cerca de 6 meses apenas pude sacar tiempo para hacer 1 o dos post, la parte buena es que vengo cargado con muchas historias y cosas que contarles.
Hoy les traigo una de las pinturas que realice durante mi tiempo en esa isla, aprovechando todo el ambiente caribe帽o me quise inspirar en la mujer tambi茅n con un toque de 脕frica
Primero empec茅 con un dibujo en la tela para colocar bien la figura y los detalles, donde iba cada cosa , tuve que adaptarme a la luz de mi renta y hacia parte dentro y parte en el patio que ten铆a la casa.
Despu茅s de terminado el dibujo con claridad, empec茅 a poner las capas de color para dar un color general a todas las formas
Poco a poco y capas tras capa de pintura fui agregando , volumen detalles y formas hasta lograr el acabado final donde se mezclan todos los tonos de la piel y las texturas de los diferentes elementos.
Para hacer esta pieza me tarde varias semanas ya que de lunes a s谩bado trabajaba en el laboratorio de fotograf铆a y solo ten铆a el domingo para hacer mis cosas personales, sin duda una experiencia muy importante para m铆 pues nunca antes hab铆a salido de mi pa铆s y lo hice completamente solo.
Ahora regrese a casa pues se termin贸 mi permiso de trabajo y estoy listo para nuevas obras y nuevas aventuras. Mi regreso no pudo ser m谩s oportuno justo a tiempo para participar en el HiveCubaCon
