One of my best pastry is meat pie, the combination of crunchiness, soft meaty texture and the vegetable all together just makes it feel like heaven in the mouth.
I enjoy meat pie more when it’s hot and fresh out of the oven, the aroma alone is enough to satisfy and quench your hunger
I usually make up to 120 meat pies a day base on order and I must tell you for fact that it’s fun when making pastries

Incase you are hosting a few friends over at your place and you are thinking of something exciting to make, meat pie is the perfect idea.
Now let’s go over the recipe; when it comes to baking meat pie, there two things to make. First the pie dough; and secondly the sauce
Add water and mix till it form a dough (Ps: do not knead the dough hence, it will become stretchy and hard)
Once your dough is formed, set it aside to rest
How to make the meat pie
Get a meat pie cutter
Cut a small size from the dough and roll it out in a flat circle shape with a rolling pin
Place the rolled out dough on the cutter
Fill the middle with at least 1tbsp of the sauce
Rub some water on the edges of the dough with your finger( to avoid the dough from opening when baking it)
Close the cutter and remove the excess dough
Place your pie on a coated baking tray ( you can use vegetable oil or butter to coat the tray)
Egg wash your pie ( mixture of 1 medium egg and 1tbsp of water)
Bake in your oven at 180 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
