On this occasion I have come to share an artistic exhibition carried out by the design arts students of UNEARTE, such as Armando Reveron. This exhibition is made up of furniture pieces designed and created from scratch by each of the students. In addition to being functional, they are articulated in object symbols that do not in any way obey a conformist pattern, but rather the expression of concerns about the way we live and, to a certain extent, propose new forms.
En esta ocasi贸n he venido a compartir una muestra art铆stica llevada a cabo por los estudiantes de artes del dise帽o de la UNEARTE ceca Armando Reveron, esta exposici贸n est谩 conformada por piezas de mobiliarios dise帽adas y creadas desde cero por cada uno de los estudiantes que adem谩s de ser funcionales, se articulan en s铆mbolos objetuales que no obedecen de ninguna manera a un patr贸n conformista, sino a la expresi贸n de inquietudes hacia el modo en que vivimos y hasta cierto punto proponen nuevas formas.
The exhibition entitled "Useful = Symbol" consisted of 20 sets of furniture pieces, each set symbolizing a specific theme reflected by the artist, fulfilling not only a specific function as an object, but also representing social relationships linking creators and users on an unconscious level.
La muestra titulada "脷til = s铆mbolo" se conformaba de 20 conjuntos de piezas mobiliarias, cada conjunto simboliza alguna tem谩tica especifica reflejada por el artista creador cumpliendo no solo una funci贸n concreta como objeto, sino que son tambi茅n la representaci贸n de relaciones sociales enlazando en un nivel inconsciente a los creadores y los usuarios.
I'm truly delighted to see my fellow art students displaying their creations in such an organized manner as this art exhibition led by professors Jacinto and Guillermo. I'm also very happy to see my brother, Mois茅s, from the art school. Despite his different major (graphic arts), he committed last semester to helping the design arts students create their pieces. He took the opportunity to join the project and create his own furniture.
De verdad me alegra much铆simo poder ver a mis colegas estudiantes de artes exponiendo sus creaciones de manera tan organizada como lo ha sido esta muestra art铆stica dirigida por los profesores Jacinto y Guillermo; tambi茅n me alegro mucho ver a mi hermano de artes Mois茅s que a pesar de que 茅l es de otra especialidad (artes gr谩ficas), se comprometi贸 el pasado semestre para ayudar a los estudiantes de artes del dise帽o a elaborar sus piezas y aprovecho para unirse al proyecto y crear sus propias piezas mobiliarias.
This last image doesn't belong to me. I give credit to the designer, Professor Jacinto Mart铆nez, who created it. However, I'm sharing it because I really liked the design and it's also the image used to advertise the exhibition. Esta 煤ltima imagen no me pertenece le doy cr茅ditos al dise帽ador que la creo el profesor Jacinto Mart铆nez, pero la comparto porque me gust贸 mucho el dise帽o y adem谩s es la imagen con la que se publicito la muestra expositiva, cada una de las miniaturas que salen en la imagen son los croquis de los mobiliarios creados por los estudiantes de artes del dise帽o.
