From a very early age, I’ve had a real knack for manual and creative work—not to mention using tools. It’s like in the movie The Matrix, where a user manual is instantly downloaded into your mind so you can operate a vehicle or a tool; that’s exactly how it is for me—I touch a tool and instantly know how to use it. However, it wasn't until four years ago that I decided to study fine arts and realized I am an ALCHEMIST who transmutes matter. That is why I enjoy transforming trash into something good and useful.
Desde muy temprana edad, he tenido mucha habilidad para el trabajo manual y creativo, y ni hablar del uso de herramientas, tengo la capacidad como en la película MATRIX en donde para usar un vehículo o una herramienta, le descargan a la mente un manual de uso programado, así me pasa, yo toco una herramienta y al instante ya se cómo usarla; pero fue solo hasta hace 4 años que decidí estudiar artes plásticas y me hice consiente de que soy un ALQUIMISTA y transmuto la materia. Por eso disfruto al trasformar la basura en algo bueno y útil.
Today I’m sharing how I made a side table using scrap materials I had stored at home. I gathered various rusty iron pieces, discarded the ones that wouldn't work for my DIY project, and used a grinder to polish the pieces I kept, removing the rust that had accumulated over time.
Hoy vengo a compartirles como realice una mesa auxiliar usando restos de materiales que tenía guardados en la casa. Reuní varios restos de piezas de hierro oxidadas, luego deseche lo que no me serviría para mi proyecto de bricolaje, y pulí con un esmeril todas las piezas que conserve para quitarles el óxido que acumularon en el tiempo.
Thanks to my commitment and hard work, I have been able to acquire my own tools to ensure high-quality results for all my projects. For this project, I used my welding machine for the first time, allowing me to weld the table base tubes and begin shaping the structure.
Gracias a mi compromiso y esfuerzo he podido adquirir todas mis herramientas propias para que todos mis proyectos tengan un resultado de buena calidad. En este proyecto estrene la máquina de soldar, que me permitió soldar los tubos de la base de la mesa para ir dándole forma a la estructura.
I constructed the tabletop using smaller-diameter tubes and designed it so the table's height could be adjusted. I also drilled several holes in the base to attach casters, making the table mobile.
La parte superior de la mesa la realice con unos tubos de menor diámetro y la diseñe para que se pueda ajustar la altura de la mesa. También le realice varios agujeros en la base para colocarle unas rueditas para darle movilidad a la mesa.
Once I had everything assembled, I painted the table frame, let the paint dry for a full day, and then attached the wheels to the base using rivets. It took me two consecutive days to build the table, and I loved the final result.
Después que tenía todo armado, pase a pintar la estructura de la mesa, deje la pintura secar un día completo y luego le fije con remaches las ruedas en la base. me tomo dos días seguidos realizar la mesa y me encanto el resultado final.
I decided to build this table because I run a tattoo business and needed a side table for greater comfort while tattooing; I used a stainless steel tray I already had on hand. A table like this usually costs $60, so I’m saving money that I can invest in supplies. I hope you enjoyed my DIY project, good vibes.
Me motive a realizar esta mesa ya que actualmente tengo mi negocio de tatuajes y necesitaba una mesa auxiliar para tener más comodidad cuando estoy realizando un tatuaje, utilice una bandeja de acero inoxidable que tenía guardada; una mesa como esta tiene un valor de 60 dólares, con esto me estoy ahorrando un dinero que puedo usar para invertirlo en materiales de trabajo.
