In this session, I found myself back in the trenches, focused on defending the village from yet another massive bandit horde. It has been relatively recently that I suffered a brutal siege, with attack after attack landing heavy blows on my infrastructure. I managed to resist those incursions effectively, and just when I was getting back into the rhythm of expanding the settlement, the bandits organized another massive assault.

Fortunately, the city guard was well-prepared in terms of manpower, possessing a significant number of men equipped with sturdy shields and armor. However, they were still lacking in high-quality food and superior weaponry. Despite these logistical shortcomings, the first waves of bandits were repelled with such effectiveness that I actually allowed myself the luxury of focusing my resources elsewhere. I invested in upgrading the local church and managed to conduct some productive trades with the traveling merchant to keep the economy afloat.

Nevertheless, the situation is far from stable. I need to be realistic about the state of my troops; the lack of quality gear is starting to become a noticeable problem in prolonged engagements. If the attacks continue to scale in intensity, my current defensive setup might struggle to hold the line. The current repulsions were successful, but I suspect the enemies are just testing my perimeter.

Furthermore, this current conflict is only the beginning of a much larger wave of attacks. I can see the banners of the enemy gathering at the edge of the map, and the threat level has not dropped. I am bracing for a much harder fight in the coming days, and my priority must shift back to supplying my soldiers with the food and weapons they desperately need to maintain their morale and combat efficiency.

Consequently, I am preparing for a long, grueling struggle. I will continue to hold the gates, but I know that I cannot rely on luck or luxury investments forever. The survival of the village depends on my ability to quickly adapt our supply chains to support a prolonged state of martial law. The siege has only just begun, and I must be ready for everything they throw at us next.

Hace relativamente poco sufrí otro asedio brutal por parte de ellos; ataque tras ataque fueron asestando golpes a la aldea, pero logré resistir esos embates efectivamente. Justo cuando estaba de vuelta enfocado en expandir la aldea, resulta que los bandidos organizaron otro ataque masivo.

Afortunadamente, la guardia de la ciudad disponía de un buen número de hombres y una buena cantidad de escudos y armaduras. Sin embargo, no todo era perfecto, ya que les faltaba comida y armas de calidad para soportar una lucha prolongada. Pese a estas carencias logísticas, las primeras hordas de bandidos fueron repelidas con una efectividad tal que me di el lujo de concentrarme en invertir ciertos recursos en mejorar una iglesia y comerciar con el mercader para mantener el flujo de suministros.

No obstante, debo ser realista: la situación sigue siendo tensa. La falta de equipo de alta calidad empieza a hacerse notar cuando los combates se alargan. Si los ataques siguen aumentando en intensidad, mi configuración defensiva actual podría tener problemas para mantener la línea. Las repulsiones actuales fueron exitosas, pero sospecho que el enemigo solo está probando mis defensas.
