I decided to document this because the overcast conditions give a special touch to the city's appearance. It is a different view from the typical sunny afternoon; here, the gray colors of the clouds take over the space and simplify the visual information of the streets. I aimed to capture that stillness and the sense of calm that this weather transmits.

Hola a Todos. Hoy comparto una serie de fotografías que muestran varios edificios altos de la ciudad frente a un cielo gris y nublado. Tomé estas imágenes desde el nivel de la calle en un día donde el clima estaba completamente dominado por nubes densas.
La iluminación era uniforme debido a la falta de sol directo, lo que me permitió enfocar los edificios y la arquitectura. Caminé por las calles buscando ángulos donde la altura de los edificios se sintiera más imponente frente al fondo denso. El tono monocromático del día le dio al entorno urbano un aspecto sólido y uniforme.
Fotografiar desde una perspectiva baja resalta la escala de estas construcciones haciéndolas parecer más altas sin duda. Me enfoqué en la forma en que los techos parecen tocar las nubes, creando un contraste marcado entre las ventanas oscuras y el cielo pálido. No hubo colores brillantes que distrajeran de las formas, por lo que los resultados se centran en el volumen y la disposición de las fachadas.
Decidí documentar esto porque las condiciones nubladas le dan un toque especial al aspecto de la ciudad. Es una vista distinta a la típica tarde soleada; aquí, los colores grises de las nubes se apoderan del espacio y simplifican la información visual de las calles. Busqué captar esa quietud y sensación de calma que transmite ese clima.
