Indo Chinese starters are all time my favorite.
I donot love to eat soya chunks usually, I know it is very healthy and a protein rich food for vegetarian. But my husband loves to eat the curry and soya pulav too. Often I make soya chunks curry with potato and sometimes with pumpkin. He likes it very much and soon I gonna share this recipe too. But today, I m in mood to eat mouth watering and lip smacking spicy appetizer.
Indians usually loves to eat spicy and masaledar dishes.
Today I am sharing a different recipe. Every body has taste the gobhi, paneer and veg manchurian but today I am sharing a unique recipe of Soya Chunk Manchurian.
Soya manchrian is made in two ways -dry and gravy. Today I am sharing a dry version of manchurian and is mainly served as party straters or as an appetizer.
So let's start-
Ingredients-
鈻笌Soya chunks-1 cup
鈻笌Hot water-4 cup(to soak)
鈻笌Ginger garlic paste- 1 tbspn
鈻笌Cornflour- 4tbspn
鈻笌All purpose flour-3tbspn
鈻笌Red chili powder-陆 tbspn
鈻笌Salt-according to the taste
鈻笌Oil-for frying
鈻笌Onions-陆cup finely chopped
鈻笌Capsicum-陆cup finely chopped
鈻笌Spring onions-陆cup
鈻笌Garlic clove -陆tbspn
鈻笌Vinegar-1tbspn
鈻笌Soy souce-1 tbspn
鈻笌tomato Ketchup -1 tbspn
METHOD
1.at first in a bowl soak soya chunks in hot water for 20 mins.
Remember- make sure to saok soya well in water and also squeeze well the water out, else they might absorbs oil while frying.
2.after that squeeze out the water from soya by hands.
3.transfer it in a bowl and then add ginger garlic paste, corn flour, all purpose flour, chili powder and salt.
4.combine all the ingredients well. If required then only add little water.
5.further heat oil in a pan and deep fry the soya chunks.
6.fry till soya chunks turns crisp. Stir occasionally.
7.transfer them in a tissue paper and keep aside.
8.now in a pan add oil.
9.add green chilies, chopped garlic, chopped onions, spring onions and saute it well.
10.then add capsicum and saute it.
11.add vinegar, soy sauce, ketchup and salt. keep the flame high and saute it for 2 min.
12.mix all well and then add fried soya chunks and mix it well for 1 min. Off the flame and transfer it in a bowl and garnish it with chopped spring onions.
Serve in a bowl and have it!
It's a really lip - smacking appetizer. You will love to eat this dish as a appetizer or you can also combine it with noodles or fried rice. As this one is the dry version so you can love to have this way also.
