Take it from me, the worse time to walk up to a lady and try to woo her is when you’re with the boys, because if things don’t go right with the lady, the boys will so laugh at you that you will wish you didn’t even approach the lady in the first place.

Earlier today while I was sitting outside with a couple of my friends, one of us had sighted a lady who was coming from afar and had made a bet with us that he was going to get her number. Of course we all took him up on his bet because it was fun and then we waited until the lady got close enough for my friend to approach.

When he approached her, I kind of blacked out for a minute thinking about the amount of confidence a person must have for him to just approached someone he had never met before, a total stranger and wants to maybe start a relationship with them. I’ve thought about doing it in the past but each time I play the conversation that may transpire between me and that person in my head, I get discouraged immediately.

A lot of ladies easily get irritated and won’t hesitate to stick it to you the moment you say hi to them and if there’s one thing I hate more than embarrassment, it’s public embarrassment and that is why I always make sure to go through almost everything in my head first before making a move, that way I can try to foresee anything that might happen and try to avoid it.

Five minutes later and my friend was back. He didn’t have to tell us what she said, we already knew. Judging from the way the lady angrily walked away, things must not have gone as planned. The next thing that followed was a series of laughter from I and the boys, I may not know how to walk up to a lady and try to woo her but I do know how to give a good laugh.
