Please give it up for Bob and yours truly on this wonderful Caturday 😹; I christen it- Bob on the blockchain day😹.
It's been another ordinary day stepping it out. As always am grateful for this day, as I always say, there are many who wanted to see it but didn't, so we are definitely blessed💯. Thank you for stopping by and let's quickly take a look at how my day has been including trending news from around the globe. Here we go again 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the neighborhood 🌲. Today was much warmer than yesterday so I made the most of it in the fresh morning air🍃. Then I was back indoors for a bit of resting before embarking on the little house chores around the house. Up and down and in between I kept watching the news for trending stories. Then later in the afternoon a quick stop at the shopping centre for groceries. Next, I was back indoors sleeping for the usual refreshing afternoon nap💤. The evening came in quite swiftly, I was up, cooking and watching a bit of youtube. I noticed some interesting soccer ⚽ matches going on. The sunset walk came as it was almost getting dark, as always slow paced enjoying the cool evening/night breeze. I finally made it back home safe and sound calling it a day.
So that was my day but lets finish with some of the trending stories.
Locally, a rather quiet day except for the usual political shenanigans 😹. Kenyan president visiting Uganda. Last week the Ugandan president's son had joked about attacking and invading Nairobi, causing an uproar on twitter🙀😹.
Globally, Ukraine trending as a major Crimea bridge called Kerch was damaged by a truck bomb🙀. It is a vital supply link for Russia's war supplies. They are working hard to restore it. Meanwhile, the Zaporizhzhia power plant has lost its main supply of power and now relying on external diesel generators, this after continued shelling in the area. Each side blaming each other 🙀.
Elsewhere in Iran, protests against the morality police kept going. Women have really gained the courage to speak up on the oppression that has gone on for years after the death of that 22 year old. They are not backing down 💪, today the president was caught up in one of those after he went to address a university in Tehran😹.
Across the pond in the US, more fights for women's rights as country wide marches were held over abortion access. This ahead of the mid term elections,; protesters calling on voters to reject candidates that want to out law abortions. This after the supreme court in June, overturned the Roe v Wade case whose ruling had made abortion legal.
Finally, Attention seeking, Kim Jong-un is on a roll, last night he test fired another two ballistic missiles into the sea😹. That makes it seven missiles in close to a week, the first one flying dangerously over Japan 🙀.
