I have never seen a water dragon in this position before! It was just stuck to the wall frozen as we walked past. Eventually, it just dropped into the water as we got too close, but it did look like it could have just stayed there forever if it wanted to. I don't think they have suction feet and hands like geckos, but they must have really strong tails. I suppose they use the tail for swimming as well.
