TGIF 🍻🍷 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's Friday the 13th, spooky day 👻 but the weekend is upon us yet again and I hope you are having a great day. As always at this time am raring to go with the day's stepping activities plus some of the stories that trended all over the globe. Thank you for reading and let's take it away 💨.
Just like yesterday, I kicked off with the fast paced morning session. A rather short but enjoyable session brisk walking 👣 in the fresh morning air 🍃.
Come eleven o'clock, I was back indoors where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. Campaigning in high gear as we head towards the general elections.
Globally, Ukraine still trending, shelling went on in the eastern regions. Ukraine's defense minister says he hopes to arm a million fighters as the country prepares for a new long phase of war😱. Let's hope it won't be a long war, today president Zelensky said he was ready to meet Putin. Elsewhere, the US and Russia defense secretaries held a call. Lyod Austin urged for an immediate ceasefire in Ukraine.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin bounced back to 30k, a little weakening of the bears 🐻.
Let's keep watching for the bottom ☺️.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the shopping center for some cooking groceries. Walked around the park for a while before heading back home 🏡.
Next came the usual nap 💤. It was quite refreshing 💯 and I got up some time early evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Trending, in the middle east, a funeral service and burial was held for slain al Jazeera journalist. Before the service, a despicable scene as Israeli forces attacked the funeral procession beating up people 😱😬. Elsewhere in the UAE, the president has passed away aged 73, sincere condolences 😢.
Anyways, as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. As always slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃, it nearly rained but didn't.
