Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Thursday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my report 😊. It's mid month, I've had just another ordinary day stepping it out and as bedtime beckons, it's time to quickly take a look at how my day has been plus some of the trending stories I came across. As always thank you for reading and let's take it away 💨.
So I kicked off the day with some brisk walking 👣 and jogging around the neighbourhood 🌲. A cloudy day but with some beautiful morning breeze 🍃. Then I was back indoors for some resting, a little bit of daily chores and catching up with the news. The next chance of walking came in the afternoon out to the shopping centre for some food. As always I squeezed in the afternoon nap and woke up some time early evening. After some news and you tube, it was time for the slow paced sunset walk. I had a nice walk then was back indoors still watching news, reading a few stuff before bedtime. So now let's quickly take a look at a summary of what was trending.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans kept going😹, we are still waiting for the naming of a new cabinet after Tuesday's swearing in of a new president. Today the talk of town was the increase in fuel prices, petrol is now at its highest price ever seen in the country😱. Goods and services will similarly follow suit. The new govt. will definitely have to do something.
Globally, the UK still trending with the funeral of the Queen underway, she still lies in state at 900 year old Westminster hall. The queue of people stretching 8km😱. Elsewhere in Ukraine, EU commission president, Ursula stopped by for talks with president Zelensky, remember Ukraine has applied to be fast tracked to join the EU.
Meanwhile , Russian president, Putin met with his Chinese counterpart Xi, in Uzbekistan. The two pledged to work together.
