On the tenth day of my vacation in Benalm谩dena, I decided to venture out and visit the nearby city of Marbella. Known for its luxurious lifestyle, beautiful beaches and rich history, Marbella had always intrigued me. With its reputation as a glamorous destination, I was eager to see what this iconic city had to offer.
The day began with an overcast sky, a common theme during my vacation. The clouds hung low, casting a muted light over the landscape. However, unlike previous days when the weather had been warm and muggy, the temperature today was pleasantly cool, making it perfect for exploring a new city.
No d茅cimo dia das minhas f茅rias em Benalm谩dena, decidi aventurar-me e visitar a cidade vizinha de Marbella. Conhecida pelo seu estilo de vida luxuoso, belas praias e uma hist贸ria rica, Marbella sempre me intrigou. Com a sua reputa莽茫o de destino glamoroso, estava ansioso por ver o que esta cidade ic贸nica tinha para oferecer.
O dia come莽ou com c茅u nublado, um tema comum nas minhas f茅rias. As nuvens estavam baixas, lan莽ando uma luz suave sobre a paisagem. No entanto, ao contr谩rio dos dias anteriores, quando o tempo estava quente e abafado, a temperatura hoje estava agradavelmente fresca, tornando-o perfeito para explorar uma nova cidade.
My first destination was the Puerto Deportivo de Marbella, the city bustling marina. Known for its luxury yachts and vibrant atmosphere, the marina is a hub of activity and a favourite spot for both locals and tourists. As I walked along the promenade, I was greeted by the sight of numerous boats and yachts docked in the harbor.
O meu primeiro destino foi o Puerto Deportivo de Marbella, a movimentada marina da cidade. Conhecida pelos seus luxuosos iates e atmosfera vibrante, a marina 茅 um centro de atividades e um local de elei莽茫o tanto para os habitantes locais como para os turistas. Enquanto caminhava pelo passeio mar铆timo, fui recebido pela vis茫o de v谩rios barcos e iates atracados no porto.
The marina was alive with activity, with people strolling along the waterfront, enjoying the views, and stopping at the various cafes and restaurants that lined the promenade.
A marina estava repleta de atividade, com pessoas a passear 脿 beira-mar, a apreciar a vista e a parar nos v谩rios caf茅s e restaurantes que ladeavam o passeio mar铆timo.
After spending some time at the marina, I decided to explore Marbella Old Town. The Old Town is a charming maze of narrow streets, whitewashed buildings, and picturesque squares, offering a glimpse into the city鈥檚 rich history. As I made my way into the heart of the Old Town, I was immediately struck by the contrast between the modern luxury of the marina and the timeless beauty of this historic area.
Depois de passar algum tempo na marina, decidi explorar o centro hist贸rico de Marbella. A Cidade Velha 茅 um encantador labirinto de ruas estreitas, edif铆cios caiados e pra莽as pitorescas, oferecendo um vislumbre da rica hist贸ria da cidade. Ao entrar no cora莽茫o da Cidade Velha, fiquei imediatamente impressionado com o contraste entre o luxo moderno da marina e a beleza intemporal desta zona hist贸rica.
The streets of the Old Town were lined with small shops, cafes and restaurants, each with its own unique charm. The buildings were adorned with flower filled balconies, and the narrow alleyways were paved with cobblestones, adding to the quaint, old world feel of the area. As I wandered through the streets, I felt as though I had stepped back in time, with the hustle and bustle of the marina seeming like a distant memory.
As ruas da Cidade Velha estavam repletas de pequenas lojas, caf茅s e restaurantes, cada um com o seu charme 煤nico. Os edif铆cios eram adornados com varandas cheias de flores e as ruelas estreitas eram pavimentadas com paralelep铆pedos, aumentando a sensa莽茫o pitoresca e antiga da 谩rea. Ao passear pelas ruas, senti-me como se tivesse recuado no tempo, com a agita莽茫o da marina a parecer uma mem贸ria distante.
After spending some time in the Old Town, I made my way to Parque de la Alameda, a lush green park located near the center of Marbella. The park is a peaceful oasis in the middle of the city, offering a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding streets. As I entered the park, I was greeted by the sight of tall palm trees, vibrant flowers and beautifully landscaped gardens.
Depois de passar algum tempo no Centro Hist贸rico, fui at茅 ao Parque de la Alameda, um parque verdejante localizado perto do centro de Marbella. O parque 茅 um o谩sis tranquilo no meio da cidade, oferecendo um ref煤gio bem-vindo da agita莽茫o das ruas circundantes. Ao entrar no parque, fui recebido pela vis茫o de palmeiras altas, flores vibrantes e jardins paisag铆sticos.
The park was relatively quiet, with only a few people strolling along the pathways or sitting on the benches. The overcast sky created a soft, diffused light that enhanced the colours of the plants and flowers, making the park feel like a hidden paradise. I took a leisurely walk through the park, enjoying the cool breeze.
O parque estava relativamente calmo, com apenas algumas pessoas a passear pelos caminhos ou sentadas nos bancos. O c茅u nublado criava uma luz suave e difusa que real莽ava as cores das plantas e das flores, fazendo com que o parque parecesse um para铆so escondido. Dei um passeio tranquilo pelo parque, aproveitando a brisa fresca.
One of the things that struck me about Parque de la Alameda was the attention to detail in the landscaping. The gardens were meticulously designed, with a variety of plants and flowers arranged in beautiful patterns. There were several fountains and statues scattered throughout the park, adding an element of artistry to the natural beauty. The sound of water flowing from the fountains was particularly soothing, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
Uma das coisas que me impressionou no Parque de la Alameda foi a aten莽茫o aos detalhes no paisagismo. Os jardins foram meticulosamente desenhados, com uma variedade de plantas e flores dispostas em belos padr玫es. Existiam v谩rias fontes e est谩tuas espalhadas por todo o parque, acrescentando um elemento art铆stico 脿 beleza natural. O som da 谩gua a fluir das fontes era particularmente reconfortante, criando uma atmosfera pac铆fica e relaxante.
After spending some time in the park, I decided to continue my exploration of Marbella by visiting the Avenida del Mar, a pedestrian avenue that connects the Old Town with the marina. The avenue is famous for its collection of bronze sculptures by the renowned Spanish artist Salvador Dal铆. As a fan of Dal铆 work, I was excited to see these sculptures in person.
Depois de passar algum tempo no parque, decidi continuar a minha explora莽茫o de Marbella visitando a Avenida del Mar, uma avenida pedonal que liga o Centro Hist贸rico 脿 marina. A avenida 茅 famosa pela sua cole莽茫o de esculturas em bronze do conceituado artista espanhol Salvador Dal铆. Como f茫 do trabalho de Dal铆, fiquei entusiasmado ao ver pessoalmente estas esculturas.
The Avenida del Mar is a beautiful promenade, lined with palm trees and benches, offering stunning views of the sea and the surrounding area. The bronze sculptures, which are scattered along the avenue, are some of Dal铆 most iconic works, each one showcasing his unique and surreal style.
A Avenida del Mar 茅 um belo passeio, ladeado por palmeiras e bancos, que oferece vistas deslumbrantes sobre o mar e arredores. As esculturas de bronze espalhadas pela avenida s茫o algumas das obras mais emblem谩ticas de Dal铆, cada uma mostrando o seu estilo 煤nico e surreal.
