On the pole, I'm always striving for smoothness! Usually, learning a combo or trick starts with some fails. It then moves on to a few rough run throughs. If I feel solid enough with the whole combo, then I try to really smooth out the transitions and focus on form. Pointed feet and toes does not come easily. Other pole dancer's know we are always thinking about pointing feet and toes! When I do not feel comfortable with a move, my feet tend to spaz out and flex when I'm thinking hard - kind of funny right?!
