I'm going to finish my little date at the restaurant with one of their Signature cocktails - Pineapple Sours. I love pineapple and I love sour so this drink really sang to me when I saw it on the cocktail list. I had no idea what to expect.
Pineapple Sours
"Pineapple Rum, Egg White, Fresh Lime"
This cocktail turned up and it looked rather beautiful. Loved the little hearts and the slice of dried lime on the top of the froth, which I'm guessing was the egg white. It was very whipped, light and almost creamy. I completely forgot it was egg white. I think if I thought about it too much, it might have put me off. The drink underneath could have had more pineapple flavour and I didn't really get that zing of lime I was after. It was a nice drink but I don't think I would have it again. I would have liked it to be more fruity. I'll have to try something else next time.
