Afternoon Everybody!
I finally caved and had the Krispy Kreme Jaffanut donut. I love Jaffa cakes. Chocolate and orange work really well together and I wanted to see how this donut compares. I had to get in soon anyway as these donuts are not around for very long.

These donuts certainly looked the part. A dome in the centre where the filling is and topped with a good layer of chocolate icing. My husband made sure to look for the ones with the biggest dome to make sure I had enough filling and they did not disappoint! The Filling was so orangey and tangy and this paired with the fluffiness of the donut (which did have a little bit of a cake texture) and the dark chocolate icing made it a winner.
This donut was so nice, I decided to get another two in a week later. I know that would be my last opportunity to get them in as I have some busy weekends coming up and I only have donuts at the weekend, with the exception of last Friday. My husband was out for a party so I decided to have my own indoor party with a couple of these bad boys whilst I was all tucked up and comfy in bed. Bliss...
