What exactly is it that you think you see?
Surely presumption would dare not rear
That ugly face of unknown reality
Tracing all that is unfamiliar to you
Bewildered amazement captivates the mind
Tender grace taking over your ridicule
Yet not strong enough to make you kind
Enough to convict, but laying docile
You move towards criticism's condemning voice
Thinking all that is evil and pain
You've made your choice to drive me insane
Wrapping this mind around your judgement
I cast back at you this cold and darkened core
Filled with malice yet maintaining peace
This juxtaposed paradox now craves your
Unsolicited philosophy concerning my soul
Has caused this obsession to expose my thorn
Now the time has come to lash back this facade
A face that you created has now been born
Now it is my turn to take this moment
To say I dominate is far too light an ideal
Piercing the eyes of transparent emptiness
It is your spirit of darkness I intend to steal
Absorbing your energy as I drain your motivation
A kind and gentle embezzlement of thought
Now you stand before me, emptied and alone
Though still breathing, the substance I have caught
Take this lesson my friend for you have truly failed
Your mission to destroy was merely an illusion
My dignity you have stolen, but ultimate victory is mine to claim
Leaving you desolate in the darkness of your confusion
Judgment may come in many different forms
For subtlety reigns supreme in carnality
Move by your impulses and emotions to strike
The tables will always turn in favor of spirituality
Its never enough to presume to know
The acquaintances we face are the beginning of knowledge and fact
Patience to wait and seek will always prevail
Over the animal inside who is ready to attack
A fool is one who will never seek to understand
Generating false truth simply because accountability is foreign to him
At some point the fantasy becomes reality
And evil becomes good, righteousness turns to sin
What will you, my friend, do when its time to face the reckoning
For whether you like it or not, your origin and essence bears a Face and a Name
A name that harbors the substance of eternity
A flawless Face that reflects all your shame
Look into the mirror and what do see?
The abyss is not far, are you sure you wanna judge?
For when you reach out to grasp the unknown
You experience the wrath of Saturn's grudge
Be careful with the ones who love you
Take heed to wisdom for it may be the last
A second chance may not be possible
Now is the time to learn from the past
Jesus said "judge not that ye be not judged"
And yet you wear the cross of sacrifice
How apropos! The very symbol of death to all that is sin
Has become your hypocrisy, your trademark of vice
When will it become clear that you are only a reflection of me?
No differential between these two souls
I am you and you are me, so why cannot you see
Your opinion doesn't matter for even you are out of my control
The judgment seat belongs to Christ alone
The one who holds the keys of life
To face Him fully without blame or shame
Maybe we together should start right now by putting an end to all this strife
Do not judge me, for my Savior has already done so
Instead embrace the unity of truth and faith
Let us look together to the beauty of God's Word
And find that we are all one creation riding the waves of God's amazing grace
