Hello Splinterlanders! I hope this post finds you well!

I want to share my first battle in the #Wild mode in the #Splinterlands #game, already with the title of the publication some peculiar questions may arise, but it is better that I tell a little background of the battle so that it is understood.

I had problems with my computer and I entered the game for the first time from my Smartphone, for that I used the #Hive #Keychan #Dapp and everything worked without problems, the detail is that the interface of the game on the cell phone is a little different from the one on the computer screen, at first I did not realize that when I entered the battle history, I had the Wild mode selected by default, so when I did not see my battles, I decided to play a game to see if it was a failure Or is that how things were.

I was dealt a 25 MANA battle, with the freedom to use any of the decks and no quirky rules, all lucky, I settled on Fire Splinter as soon as I was matched up with my opponent.

You have the link to the battle at: https://splinterlands.com?p=battle&id=sl_ed3536034c85c4f250dbc02c06729782&ref=pedrobrito2004

But, before you visit the battle, I would like to tell you a little about it. The lineups were interesting from my point of view, my opponent used Life Splinter and I must confess that he selected a very good balance on his cards. The lineups were like this:

PositionMy lineupMy opponent's lineup
SummonerTarsaMother Khala
TankLiving LavaShieldbeared
2nd placeDjinn ApprenticeCelestial Harpy
3rd placeTenyll StrikerTruthspeaker
4th positionUraeusPelacor Arbalest
TailRadiated ScorcherStitch Leech

The first thing I noticed was that although my strategy is usually that all my #cards attack, this time I didn't comply, because I queued up a low-mana #card so that my opponent spent some moves to kill it. I focused on two attackers to my opponent's tail and two attackers to my opponent's tank, one of the attackers to that tank is a magic attack, I chose that to ensure a certain variety of damage, as it can happen that the tank of my opponent had damage reduction against a specific type of attack.

It was with this same logic that I chose Living Lava as a tank, because it has the ability to reduce melee damage or range attack, so it halves any attack of these two types and is only relatively weak against magic attacks, which directly damage his life points, but he has 6 points in his life statistic and Tarsa will add one more point of life to him when making the Buff at the start of the game, as well as adding one point to all melee attacks more damage.

On the other hand, my opponent's tank has the Taunt ability, so all my attacking cards are going to focus on the opponent's tank. He has a support card in that lineup, which does not attack, but gives him additional shields, in addition to the fact that his summoner provides the Buff of raising one point to the life statistic, although his damage is a bit scattered, it is quite good, and I must say that it looks a lot like an alignment that I would do.

During the first round, the strength of my opponent's tank is noticeable, but my tank has the advantage that it manages to reduce physical and range damage, since my opponent does not have any magic docking, that favors me.

At the start of the third round, our tanks have lost their armor and my tail card is on the brink of death.

Capture-4.jpg

At the beginning of the third round, I already managed to kill my opponent's tank, I lost my tail card, but now my cards can attack different positions of the opponent's lineup, they are not subject to the late tank's taunt ability.

Capture-5.jpg

The fourth round finds me having lost my Uraeus card, but my opponent's tail is almost dead, thanks to the damage reduction Living Lava has made it to this round, but it is already in its last moments and in a few moves they kill it . However, Djinn Apprentice's magic attack shows all the usefulness of it and manages to clear my opponent's board a bit this round and give us an advantage.

Capture-6.jpg

At the start of the 6th round, both me and my opponent only have two cards each, but my two cards have the ability to attack, and my opponent only has the ability to attack with Pelacor Arbalest, but we managed to kill Truthspeaker, who lacks attack, and we force the Pelacor Arbalest card to take the tank position, that is already the end, since this card does not have the ability to attack from that position, and it only has to receive my attacks and die.

The battle was really exciting for me. Although I must confess that I later told my brother how weird it seemed to me that my battles weren't showing up in normal mode, and that's when my brother showed me that he had been playing in Wild mode… well, yes, I won, but I really did. I was surprised, it is my first fight in the Wild mode and I entered completely by mistake (personal laugh).

Well, I guess all's well that ends well :)

I share again the link to the battle, which you can see at https://splinterlands.com?p=battle&id=sl_ed3536034c85c4f250dbc02c06729782&ref=pedrobrito2004

¡Hola Splinterlanders!
