I want to share a breakdown of a battle I just played. Here are the battle rules and how I set up my team to take home the victory.
Battle Rules
Total Mana: 98 (A huge mana cap!)
Total Rounds: 8
My Team Lineup (Earth Archon)
Since I picked the Earth Archon, I wanted a strong mix of melee, magic, and ranged attackers:
New Beluroc Aegis: I placed this in my front line as my main tank. It came with 3 armor, 5 health, and 1 melee attack.
Dread Tafarian: Next in line, holding 1 armor, 6 health, and 1 melee attack.
Dire Bear: In the third spot, packing 7 health and a strong 2 melee attack.
Great Bear Druid: Positioned fourth with 6 health, a melee attack, and 1 magic damage.
Time Bandit: Placed fifth, bringing 7 health and 1 magic attack to the team.
Kicking Roc: On my very last line, acting as my backline damage dealer with 5 health and a heavy 3 ranged attack.
The Battle Ground
My opponent went with the Life Archon, and surprisingly, we both started with the exact same monster in our front lines. Here is how the action went, round by round:
Round 1:
My team started strong. I managed to eliminate his first-line monster right away, leaving him with 5 monsters.
Round 2:
The tables turned a bit. I lost my front tank (New Beluroc Aegis), which tied us up with 5 monsters each.
Round 3:
Another monster from my opponent got terminated, dropping him down to 4.
By Round 7: All his monsters had been eliminated, leaving him with only card. Meanwhile i only lost one monster throughout the entire game.
Finally Result
I took the win easily in Round 8
My Rating: I got a sweet +40 rating boost from this win.
Daily Spins: I also got lucky and scored +300 Sparks from my daily spins.
What I noticed from this match:
it seems my opponent doesn't really know how to arrange their cards strategically for a high mana battle, which was the main reason the game wasn't a tough match.
