Hello World. I'm very calm, well, with some discomfort in my body, but it's a matter of muscle tension, and it should go away without complications in a couple of days. For the rest, my #life has been calm today, we take things easy and work as much as we can. In general, it can be said that I had a good day today and that makes me happy, I hope tomorrow is the same or better.
As you can see, with so few things happening, this publication of my daily record is going to have to comment on the ephemeris of the #History that I selected for today, because I have no news to share. Today, the list of celebrations I saw was particularly long, there were many interesting things, but I read one thing in the last line of the list that caught my attention, it is a commemoration for the musicians of a particular bowed instrument and strings, the list said that today is the 'International Double Bassist Day'.

Hola mundo. Estoy de lo más tranquilo, bueno, con algo de molestia en el cuerpo, pero es cosa de tensión muscular y se me debe pasar sin complicaciones en un par de días. Por lo demás, mi #vida ha estado tranquila el día de hoy, llevamos las cosas con calma y trabajamos todo lo que podemos. En general, se puede decir que tuve hoy un buen día y eso me alegra, deseo que mañana sea igual o mejor.
Como puedes notar, con tan pocas cosas ocurriendo, esta publicación de mi registro diario va a tener que pasar a comentar ya sobre la efeméride de la #Historia que seleccioné para hoy, pues no tengo mayor novedad para compartir. El día de hoy, el listado de celebraciones lo vi particularmente largo, había muchas cosas interesantes, pero leí una cosa en la última línea del listado que me llamó la atención, se trata de una conmemoración para los músicos de un particular instrumento de arco y cuerdas, el listado decía que hoy se celebra el ‘Día Internacional del Contrabajista’.

I thought it was something interesting, and I wanted to investigate a little more about this ephemeris of the world of #music, and it turned out that the topic was peculiar. It happens that the date of celebration as such is not yet a day established or recognized by international organizations, as far as I could review, it is rather a proposal that has been on Social Networks since (at least) the year 2015. From what I understand, there was no particular day to praise this musical instrument, but more particularly, to honor the legacy of "Paganini of the double bass". If Paganini is the great master of the violin and his techniques are still studied, then the same can be said of Giovanni Bottesini.
Bottesini lived in the 19th century, he was a soloist, musical composer, #orchestra conductor, and also an opera director, in fact, he was chosen by Verdi to conduct the first performance of Aida (Cairo, December 24, 1871). In his facet as an interpreter, although he had practiced the violin in his childhood, when he was presented with the opportunity to study at the Milan Conservatory (1835), his family did not have the money to support him, so he opted for a scholarship. In the institution, the issue is that there were only two positions available for scholarships, one was Bassoon and the other was #DoubleBass. The boy went on to prepare for the double bass test and achieved great success, after that, this type of instrument accompanied him throughout his life.

Me pareció algo interesante y quise investigar un poco más sobre esta efeméride del mundo de la #musica, y resultó que el tema era peculiar. Sucede que la fecha de celebración como tal no es aún un día establecido o reconocido por organismos internacionales, hasta donde pude revisar, es más bien una propuesta que ha estado en las Redes Sociales desde (al menos) el año 2015. Por lo que entiendo, no había un día particular para enaltecer este instrumento musical, pero más particularmente, para honrar el legado del "Paganini del contrabajo". Si Paganini es el gran maestro del violín y sus técnicas son aún estudiadas, entonces se puede señalar lo mismo de Giovanni Bottesini.

Bottesini's techniques were the product of his inventiveness, of his innovation, but on occasions also of the adaptation of already existing techniques and postures, as is the case of his way of holding the bow of the instrument, which he adapted from the French style that it was used for violinists, violists and cellists. Regarding his repertoire of creations for the Double Bass, I read that his works are still part of the basic and #classical training for students of this instrument all over the world.
To all these, already closing today's topic, although it is not an official date, this celebration awakened my memory, because my closest little cousin learned to play the violin as a child, and because of him I got used to this family of violin instruments bow and strings the memories are very nice from a distance, but really the practice could be a bit noisy (personal laughter), however, they were good things, my cousin still plays music, and he really enjoys playing with his band.

Las técnicas de Bottesini fueron producto de su inventiva, de su innovación, pero en ocasiones también de la adaptación de técnicas y posturas ya existentes, tal como es el caso de su forma de empuñar el arco del instrumento, que lo adaptó del estilo francés que se empleaba para violinistas, violaistas y violonchelistas. En cuanto a su repertorio de creaciones para el #Contrabajo, leí que sus obras aún son parte de la formación básica y clásica para los estudiantes de este instrumento en todo el mundo.
A todas estas, ya cerrando el tema de hoy, si bien no es una fecha oficial, esta celebración me despertó la memoria, porque mi primo pequeño más cercano aprendía de niño a tocar violín, y por él me acostumbré a esta familia de instrumentos de arco y cuerdas. Los recuerdos son muy bonitos a la distancia, pero de verdad que la práctica podía ser algo ruidosa (risa personal), sin embargo, fueron cosas buenas, mi primo aún toca música y disfruta bastante tocando con su banda.
Bien, ya me despido, deseándote que tú estés bien y que nos podamos leer de nuevo en otra oportunidad.
