I have always been alone
In a cruel and unloving world
A world with no one to look up to
I had learnt to be independent
As a loner
On this bright morning as I walked past
I felt it
It felt the pity it had over me
Telling me it gonna be fine
Through it's calm waves
I realized I've got a friend
One I could share my pains and joy with
I became a regular visitor
And was always welcomed
Each time I visited
I always had a gift in hand for a friend
A bouquet of flowers
I shared my depressed thoughts with it
A friend and more
Always offering good advice
And teaching valid lessons
I think nature has decided to give me an everlasting companion
One that will never lose bond
Today I drop just one more flower
A goodbye flower
To a family and friend
The bridge that kept me on
Will be starting my life somewhere far
Far from home
With the lessons I've learnt from my friend
I'm sure I'll be successful
