my #Wednesdaywalk by tattoodjay@tattoodjay is around Lekki Penninsula. Seeing tall and beautiful buildings is always pleasing to the eyes. Trust me beautiful things has no other name other than Beautiful. One thing about this part of Lagos is that it is expensive to live in. This part of Lagos is not just less populated, it comes with a well organized and properly planned buildings.

Real Estate is a very lucrative form of investment, it requires a lot of knowledge.

  1. Knowing where to buy
  2. Knowing when to buy
  3. Having the money to buy
I did ask around and an average building goes for NGN 454,000,000 which is equivalent to $344,000. This is what it cost to own a building. And, it can even be way more than that in some areas, and depending on the building too.

One thing I learnt was that in some cases the land owners is different from the building owners. My curiosity made me know that sometimes, developers approach the land owner to make a construction of a fascinating building and upon agreement that once the building is set. They give it out for rent or short let for a period of time till when the developers recovers his money plus agreed interest. Other times the land owner approach a bank to get a loan to fund the building and pay back in accordance with the agreement reached.
This building is for sale. I didn't get to see who was in charge this very day
