This photo was taken at the top of Sir Lowry's Pass in the Western Cape. It was during our 127km ride on the Four Passes loop last weekend. Sir Lowry's was the first of the passes.
It is not that steep or long but extremely busy. The trucks and cars on the pass make it very unpleasant, but the view at the top is awesome.
If you are ever in this area then definitely do the Four Passes ride.
You can find the route on my Strava profile. It is a very scenic loop with some great climbs.
The best time to do it is early on a Sunday morning. That is when there will be the least amount of traffic on the road.
