It is one of the most iconic climbs in all of cycling and I cycled up there. It's the Mount Ventoux, hors category climb in the South of France. The climb is 21km long and averages at around 7.3%.
The first vivid memory I have of watching the Tour de France on TV was when they were riding up this climb.
I believe it was in 2013 and Peter Sagan did a wheelie at the front of the race just as the peloton caught him.
I would not have thought then that 5 years later I would be in France riding up it.
