Various traditions of rural culture are being carried out by Manikganj for a long time. In this continuation of rural culture, the Pitta festival was held at Bahaju village of Baniyajuri union under Ghior upazila. 18 women made 22 kinds of cakes in the initiative of the private development organization, Barasik. They made diverse pots through mutual assistance by crushing rice from the morning.
Three days ago all the members of the organization prepared the Pitta festival. Around the village, the Pitta Festival Amaze falls. In the Pitta festival held on Wednesday in the courtyard of the state-of-the-art medal farmer Babar Ali, elderly and young people from different classes of the profession took part. They interacted with each other about the methods and methods of preparing the cakes.
Pitaasapata, Pulipita, Phulpitha, oilseed, milkpoo, roasted cakes, roasted cakes, meat pita, spinach, bapatita, rosepump, milk powder etc. were among the pies displayed at the Pitta festival. During the exhibition, women participating in the rural culture of Bengal talk about the use and usage of these cakes.
