Hi Hive ๐Ÿ‘‹

I'm the developer of ParnianCoin (PARC), and this is my first post here. I came to Hive because I want to talk about building a small proof-of-work network from the ground up, with people who care about decentralized tech. I'm not here to drop links.

What is ParnianCoin?

PARC is a fork of PascalCoin. About 20โ€“30% of it has been reworked, mostly the infrastructure and services around the core. It uses RandomHash2, so it's mined on ordinary CPUs instead of GPUs or ASICs. A regular PC can still take part.

What's running today

  • A web wallet with a free account faucet, so newcomers can get started
  • Two mining pools (0.5% fee) and a block explorer
  • A built-in PARC/LTC market with escrow
  • Parnian Pay, a payment gateway with plugins for WooCommerce, OpenCart and PrestaShop
  • An open-source miner, with packages for HiveOS and mmpOS

Why I'm posting here

I'll share the real development journey: the bugs (I recently hunted down an integer overflow that was causing orphan blocks), the design decisions, and what it's like running a young network. I'd love feedback from miners and developers.
