HELLO HIVE - I'M LEGACYWURLD

Hello Hivians,
My name is Debby, I am beyond excited to finally join this wonderful platform after hearing a lot about this platform, I have heard so much about Hive before I finally got here, it took me a long while to be able to make that happen, But thanks to @treasuree who came through for me, she made the process alot easier, I had tried creating an account on my own but I wasn't able to do so but thankfully I can say I'm here now.

My Hive Username.

My username is @legacywurld it is a name coined from my aspirations to build a legacy as a woman. Where I am from, people see women as the "weaker" being, There's some truth in that framing in certain ways, but growing up I decided I wasn't going to allow society's label define who I am or what I'm capable of. @legacywurld is my quiet declaration that I intend to leave something meaningful behind and on my own terms.

My BackGround.

I'm from a family of eight, yes a large family, Though My dad is late, God rest his soul and his memory continues to guide alot of the things that I do I have twin siblings, who are the last born in the Family and I am the First Girl child, I'm based in Lagos Nigeria though my State of origin is Delta state, Nigeria.
I attended HOUDEGBE NORTH AMERICA UNIVERSITY Benin, Cotonou where I studied Mass Communication and graduated in 2024, my University was wonderful, though just like every University Student, I had my ups and downs moments, but glad to have finished that Chapter in flying colours.

Hobbies.

I love writing... it's honestly where I feel most like myself, I also enjoy watching movies and I do listen to a lot of music when I'm working or when I just want my head clear.

My Purpose For Joining Hive.

As I mentioned earlier, the story behind my username reflects exactly why I am here, i don't want to be boxed in by society's expectations of who I should be or what I should do, So here on Hive I'm looking forward to share my views, also learn from others experience, growing both as a writer and a person, I will be doing a lot of movie and music reviews, since those are two things I genuinely enjoy, I also plan to write about women's health, a topic I care deeply about, and because I love games too, I'm looking forward to exploring that side of the community as well.

This is only the beginning to my journey here, I am genuinely looking forward to everything that Hive has to offer, I don't have it all figured out , so I'm looking forward to learning in every way possible, I'm happy to be here, and I look forward to connecting with all of you.
